Mending the fence

Chatsworth Theatre

Story
A drama about a dysfunctional family dynamic between a gay couple (Jeffrey & Aron) who have had to move back into their family home and their only remaining relative during covid. Jeffrey' Sister (Jeannie) had moved into their parental home several months earlier to care for their parent who eventually died of Covid. As events unfold, we realize there are deeper underlying misunderstandings, hurtful encounters, difficult memories, and sad events in the past that have given rise to much pain and it is all unraveled magnificently with razor-sharp responses and searing one-liners. An old flame of Jeffrey (Collette)- an anti-vaxxer - comes to visit and a hurtful, cold situation turns into a pitched battle about the topics of the day.
